Applications are currently being accepted for the Fellowship at Design Incubation 2016 to be held at St. John's University Manhattan Campus, January 14-16, 2016. The fellowship is a multi-day workshop that facilitates the development of article writing, grant proposals, and design research publication. This year, in addition to developing your own work, we are offering writing mentorship in the form of book and exhibition review, statement of practice, with the goal of publication in an academic or trade journal.

Design Incubation is excited to participating in the upcoming CAA Conference 2016 in Washington DC. Hosted by the CAA Task Force, Communication Design Scholarship: Opportunities and Approaches is a panel presentation exploring recent requirements of communication design academics to participate in established forms of scholarly activities, research, publishing and endeavors in contemporary practice. This presentation discusses what currently exists and what is missing in the field.
